Plato's Dialogs - the very name reveals the roots of western philosophy. Philosophy, from the beginning, took place as a conversation. But today the word conversation has many meanings; a conversation could take the form of a phone call, an email, an instant message, a message board or a blog. This blog is part of an experiment that asks: What is a conversation like that makes use of current technology and how can that type of conversation benefit the study and enjoyment of philosophy? I welcome you and invite you to participate in this project by reading the paper and watching the videos found on this site then responding however you see fit.
